A record showing who has accessed system and what operations user has performed during a given period of time. Audit trails are useful both for maintaining security and for recovering lost transactions. In eB records of events are configurable for a community through the audit trial mode in System management console and it can be viewed by users through eB Director or eB web. How to configure or set an audit trail ? Open the SMC Expand the server node for your machine, and then the communities node. Locate the community you want to track on and expand it. Click on the "Audit Trail" node under the community Scroll down to find the object that you want to audit Use the link next to the object name to open a window with check-boxes for the audit events. Check the boxes for the events you want and click OK. If necessary you can purge (delete) records from the audit trail. You can either purge all event records related to a particular object type, or you can purge just the records of a specific event type for a particular object type. To purge all events for an object type, select the object type and click the Purge.
