For Example, Can we use the eB 15.4.1 web server with a 15.5.1 application server? When installing an eB environment, all components for that version should match. This also applies when installing an eB hotfix, where all components of the hotfix must be installed. The thick clients (eB Director and eB NED) will display a warning/error message when the client detects a mismatch of client-Server software versions. With different versions of web and application server, you may not get a warning message, but the mismatch can lead to functionality issues. For example, a web client might be able to connect, but some links and functionality might not work, or result in errors.
