The error: "Unable to download the file because I could not write the new file."
Explanation
If you try to "Get Local Copy" or "Check out" a file from eB Web.
You encounter an error: "Unable to download the file because I could not write the new file."
How to Avoid
Option 1 Your local client user account doesn't have permission to save files into destination directory
Solution: Try different location - e.g. Desktop or My Documents which is usually writable.
Option 2 You are accessing eB web via HTTPS and Internet Explorer blocks this action.
Workaround: Right click IE icon and choose "Run as Administrator".
Solution: Go to IE settings and add the web site into Trusted Sites.
