Hi, I believe all users would get different results on this functionality. You have mentioned that user indexes only pdf files but in even in this scenario results might differ alot. There are two types of pdf (image type and text type). If user does have image type pdf's then they would require to configure system to use OCR engine, if they have only text type pdf files then it would depends on ifilter. eB does have built in Nuance OCR engine (15.6 version) Most of users use indexing on docs, excel, drawing files (dwg, dgn), pdf.
